Watch out, Fockers! Ariana Grande is adding another role to her big-screen resumé by joining the cast of Meet the Parents 4.
According The Hollywood Reporter and Variety, the superstar will show off her comedy chops opposite Ben Stiller and Robert De Niro, both of whom have starred in the hit franchise since Meet the Parents became a box office smash in 2000. (Blythe Danner and Teri Polo are also expected to return for a fourth go-round with the Focker family, though THR reports that their deals have yet to be finalized.)
Thus far, details on the film’s plot remain fairly scant, but according to The Hollywood Reporter, a source revealed that the “Yes, And?” singer is set to play the “ball-busting” woman engaged to marry the now-adult son — whom viewers first met as a toddler alongside his twin sister in 2010’s Little Fockers — of Stiller and Polo’s Greg and Pam Focker.
Producer Jane Rosenthal also teased in a Variety story published Wednesday (May 28) that “Stiller is now the same age that [De Niro] was when we did the first one, and his kids have grown up, and they have to come home and meet the parents.”

The comedy will mark Grande’s first new film role in the wake of playing Glinda in the big-screen adaptation of Wicked, which earned the superstar a best supporting actress nomination at the 2025 Academy Awards as well as nods at the Golden Globes, BAFTAs and Screen Actors Guild Awards.
Next, Grande will return as the Good Witch this fall in the musical’s highly anticipated second installment, Wicked: For Good, which is slated to hit theaters across the U.S. on Nov. 21. In between Wicked movies, she also released a deluxe version of her 2024 album Eternal Sunshine, featuring six new bonus cuts including “Twilight Zone,” “Dandelion,” “Hampstead” and an extended version of “Intro (End of the World).”
