Written by on May 26, 2025

Musicians showed off their style on the red carpet for the awards show’s first time being held on Memorial Day.

Musicians across genres shined as they arrived on the red carpet at the 2025 American Music Awards on Monday (May 26) held at the Fontainbleau Las Vegas in Sin City. The show, which bills itself as the world’s largest fan-voted awards ceremony, is set to not only celebrate some of music’s brightest acts, but also veterans with several segments during the event as it airs for the first time on Memorial Day.

Among those who struck a pose on the carpet were performer Benson Boone, who is up for multiple awards for his hit “Beautiful Things,” as well as favorite male pop star and best new artist; performer Becky G, who is nominated for favorite female Latin artist; performer Lainey Wilson, who is in the running for favorite female country artist; Machine Gun Kelly; reality stars Spencer Pratt and Heidi Montag; presenter Ciara; comedian Nikki Glaser and many more.

Kendrick Lamar goes into the evening with 10 nominations, the most of any artist. Among the trophies he’s up for are album of the year for GNX, artist of year, and of course, his megahit Drake diss track “Not Like Us.” Post Malone follows close behind with eight noms, while Billie Eilish Chappell Roan and Shaboozey impress with seven apiece. Janet Jackson is also set to be honored with the Icon Award, and Rod Stewart with the Lifetime Achievement Award; both are also set to perform.

The 2025 show is hosted by Jennifer Lopez, who is helming the ceremony for the second time and is also opening the show. Also performing this year are Blake Shelton, Gloria Estefan and others.

The American Music Awards are produced by Dick Clark Productions, which is owned by Penske Media Eldridge, a joint venture between Eldridge Industries and Billboard parent company Penske Media.
