Marlon Hoffstadt Signs With Capitol Records: ‘Im So Damn Ready for It’

Written by on May 22, 2025

German dance producer Marlon Hoffstadt has signed with Capitol Records, in partnership with multi-faceted music company Goodlife Management and MC3.

“Marlon and his team have been building something incredibly special,” Capitol Music Group Chairman & CEO Tom March tells Billboard. “He has risen to become one of the most exciting artists in dance music. We’re thrilled to become part of the team and help amplify his global presence.”

The signing news follows Hoffstadt’s U.S. live debut on the mainstage at EDC Las Vegas 2025, where he performed for an estimated crowd of 70,000 and after the performance commented that “Thirteen years into my career I‘m standing on this huge stage, thinking this could have never been done without the support of every single one of you all. What a way to debut in the U.S. It feels like there is so much more to come, and I‘m sooooo ready for it.”

Hoffstadt is managed by Germany’s Invisible Hand Agency. His next release will come Friday (May 23) in the form of the double single ““Supersonic / Hands Up In The Sky,” with this music coming ahead of a set at New York’s Knockdown Center on May 24.

Hoffstadt, who’s often referred to as “DJ Daddy Trance,” has steadily risen out of his base in Berlin over the last few years with a sound focused largely on trance. His releases date back to 2012 and span labels including Ultra and Club Heart Broken/Columbia.

“It took me years to find my own sound and to find confidence, and it took me even longer to find the perfect label deal for myself,” Hoffstadt says. “But here we go: Partnering up with the amazing team of Capitol, Goodlife Management, MC3 and my beloved management Invisible Hand, we found a setup that makes me feel extremely excited, confident, and thankful to be a part of. This definitely is the biggest achievement of my career and I‘m so damn ready for it!“
