Kanye West just poured gas on a long-simmering fire by clowning Boosie Badazz during a livestream, straight-up calling him poor, and he didn’t hold back.
While on live, Ye said, “I ain’t never met Boosie a day in my life, but I know he’s poor,” sending the internet into full-blown chaos. It was a bold, random shot that caught everybody off guard, but it didn’t come outta nowhere.
Boosie has been one of Ye’s loudest critics over the past few years, especially when it comes to Ye’s wild online behavior and controversial takes. Every time Kanye goes viral for saying something off the wall, Boosie’s usually not far behind with a tweet calling him out. Now, Ye’s finally clapping back, and he’s doing it with the kind of energy only Kanye can bring. After hearing the diss, Boosie responded on Twitter with a simple but spicy, “Ye u better chill lol.” That one tweet might sound playful, but if you know Boosie, you know that “lol” can flip into “let’s go” real quick.
With both artists known for speaking their minds with zero filter, this back-and-forth could turn ugly fast. Ye throwing shade about money hits hard, especially in the rap game, where pride and wealth go hand-in-hand. This might’ve started with a livestream jab, but now the spotlight’s on Boosie.
