The 2026 Golden Globes have a date — Sunday, Jan. 11. That’s a bit later in the calendar year than the 2025 show, which aired on Jan. 5. The 2026 show will air live on both coasts (8-11 p.m. ET/5-8 p.m.PT) on CBS, and will stream on Paramount+ in the U.S. The show will again be held at its longtime home, the Beverly Hilton Hotel in Beverly Hills, Calif.

Nominations will be announced on Monday, Dec. 8.  A more detailed awards timeline will be announced soon.

Nikki Glaser was announced as the show’s host on March 13, just two months after she hosted the 2025 show. She’ll become the first person to host the Globes two years running since Tina Fey and Amy Poehler hosted the show three years in a row from 2013 to 2015.

Trending on Billboard

Glaser made history in January as the first solo woman to host the Globes. Her performance was praised both by critics and by such pros as Fey (who co-hosted the show with Poehler a total of four times) and Jon Stewart, who has hosted both the Oscars and the Grammys twice each. Glaser led the CBS broadcast to 10.1 million viewers and a 9% jump from last year’s livestreaming audience on Paramount+ and the CBS App.

The Golden Globes, which calls itself Hollywood’s Party of the Year, is the world’s largest awards show to celebrate both film and television. Dick Clark Productions will plan, host and produce the show.

Emilia Pérez won four awards, more than any other film, at the 2025 Golden Globes. On the TV side, Shōgun won four awards, more than any other TV show.

Paramount+ with Showtime subscribers will have access to livestream via the live feed of their local CBS affiliate on the service, as well as on demand. Paramount+ Essential subscribers will not have the option to stream live, but will have access to on-demand the day after the special airs.

The Golden are produced by Dick Clark Productions, which is owned by Penske Media Eldridge, a joint venture between Eldridge Industries and Billboard parent company Penske Media.
