Here’s How to Vote for the 2025 American Music Awards

The American Music Awards are fan-voted, and now that the 2025 nominations have been announced — with Kendrick Lamar leading the way thanks to a whopping 10 nods — here’s how to cast your ballot for your favorite stars.

There are a few different ways to vote: First, you can cast your vote online at VoteAMAs.com. Simply check out the site to click in favor of the artists you want to see win at this year’s ceremony, which takes place May 26 (also Memorial Day).

The second is via Instagram by visiting the AMAs’ profile, where fans can find a pinned “VOTE HERE” post. Under the post, comment your vote by using one of the promoted hashtags, which can be found on the show’s website. Each artist in every category has a unique hashtag for each award they’re up for — meaning artists up for multiple prizes will have different voting tags for each.

Also, take note: You can only include one hashtag per comment, so make sure to leave individual comments for each artist/award you’re voting for. Your Instagram account must also be public in order for your vote to be counted!

Using both methods, fans can cast up to 25 votes per category, every day up until the awards. The exceptions to that rule come on “Turbo Days” — April 29, May 6 and May 13 — on which you can vote double that amount.

Instagram voting closes Thursday, May 15, at 11:59 p.m. PT. Web voting closes at the same time in all categories except collaboration of the year and social song of the year, which will stay open until the show is already in progress, on Monday, May 26, at 5:30 p.m. PT.

Hosted this year by Jennifer Lopez, the AMAs will air live from Las Vegas on Memorial Day. The show will also stream live on Paramount+ in the U.S.

Happy voting!

The American Music Awards are produced by Dick Clark Productions, which is owned by Penske Media Eldridge, a joint venture between Eldridge Industries and Billboard parent company Penske Media.
