Reggie Watts Takes Over Palm Springs With Billboard & Amazon for ‘MuSick’ Experience Amid Coachella Weekend

Billboard, Amazon Pharmacy and Amazon One Medical teamed up with comedian/musical improviser Reggie Watts to hit the roads of Palm Springs with the sickest show seen in the desert, “MuSick: Live from Reggie Watts’ Couch.”

On Saturday afternoon, April 12, amid the opening weekend of Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival, Watts teamed up with Amazon Pharmacy and Amazon One Medical to spread a simple message to the city: Amazon is making healthcare less painful. When Watts woke up feeling unwell on a festival day, he turned to Amazon One Medical and Amazon Pharmacy to chat with his care team and get his meds delivered. Given the ease, his mind wandered to what else he could accomplish. Cue him rolling through the streets of Palm Springs on a motorized couch, recruiting bystanders to join him for a show on a — wait for it — enormous stage couch at the Ace Hotel in Palm Springs.

During the event, Watts shined light on how you can get 24/7 telehealth care and your prescriptions without so much as getting off the couch. With his signature sonic styling, he incorporated sick sounds into his “sick” beats performances, both on the road at the venue and was preceded by performances from special guest NEIL FRANCES and Rhythm Luna.

The event also treated fans to specialty cocktails and mocktails, including beverages named Sinus Spritz, MuSick Margarita, Cougha-colada, Thirst Aid, and Placebo Effect, as well as cold pressed juices from a wellness bar and branded misters to fight off the heat.
