Shaboozey to Headline FanDuel Kentucky Derby Party

Written by on April 9, 2025

FanDuel’s Kentucky Derby Party is returning to Louisville this year with Shaboozey headlining the event, Billboard can exclusively reveal.

The exclusive, invite-only event is set to take place May 2 at Paristown Arts and Entertainment District in Louisville, Kentucky. “I’m hyped to be part of the Derby this year,” Shaboozey said in a statement. “It’s one of those bucket list events you dream about playing and we’ll be bringing serious vibes to Louisville with FanDuel.”

As part of the celebration, FanDuel will make a $100,000 donation to the Thoroughbred Aftercare Alliance, a nonprofit that provides grants to organizations for care, retraining and rehoming retired racehorses. The online gaming company is an official partner of Churchill Downs Inc. and an official sports wagering partner of the Kentucky Derby.

“The Kentucky Derby is a celebration of tradition, energy, and unforgettable moments,” Andrew Moore, general manager of racing at FanDuel, said in a press statement. “Horse racing is where FanDuel’s journey began, and it remains a central part of who we are as a company. Between the iconic FanDuel party and our donation to the Thoroughbred Aftercare Alliance, we’re looking forward to making FanDuel’s presence in Louisville known.”

Walt Robertson, president of TAA, added, “For 5 years, FanDuel has generously supported Thoroughbred aftercare and the Thoroughbred Aftercare Alliance through an annual donation. The TAA is thrilled to continue to receive the donation in 2025 and grateful to FanDuel for its continued support.”

It’s been an exciting year for Shaboozey, who was nominated for five awards at the 2025 Grammys thanks to his breakthrough hit, “A Bar Song (Tipsy)” — which notched a record-tying 19th week at No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 in November — as well as his Beyoncé collaboration “SPAGHETTII.” He’s also scheduled to perform at both the Coachella and Stagecoach music festivals this month.
