Eric Andre Says He Was ‘Way Too Intimidated’ To Flirt With Madonna When She Slid Into His DMs: ‘She Needs to Be Romanced’

Eric Andre has a well-earned reputation as a guy who is not afraid to try just about anything once. Well, except for going on a date with Madonna. On Monday night’s (April 7) Jimmy Kimmel Live! the Bombing With Eric Andre podcast host revealed that “Madonna has a bit of a crush on me.”
In fact, the 42-year-old comedian claimed, the pop icon let him know she was interested after he dropped trou on stage at one of her Celebration Tour shows at the Kia Forum in Los Angeles last March during the “Vogue” section of the gig. Kimmel gleefully posted the pic of a shocked Madonna, 66, reacting with amused horror at the sight of Andre’s bare bottom, as the comedian claimed that the singer definitely has a thing for him.
“Not to brag, [but] she slid in my DMs,” Andre claimed to an incredulous Kimmel. Unbuttoning his shirt to lasciviously expose one of his nipples — after accidentally taking the stage with his fly down — Andre licked his lips and said he didn’t want to put Madonna on “front street,” but said there was definitely “a little bit of chemistry” and some flirtation between them.

And while he’s done unspeakable things to his body and mind on and off stage — including shoving a fistful of cake where the sun don’t shine on season 5 of his Eric Andre Show — Andre said he did not pursue anything because he is “way too intimidated” by Madonna. “That’s the queen of pop. You can’t just waltz in there and start schtooping Madonna. You’ve gotta come in there with roses, you’ve gotta play Boyz II Men, you gotta drip chocolate candles… she needs to be romanced… She slept with 2Pac and Basquiat – you’ve gotta bring your A-game.”
He said he was interested, if scared, by the idea, with his sister trying to provide the courage he was lacking. “My sister called me and was like, ‘You need to bang Madonna and I’m not taking no for an answer’ and she hung up on me,” he said. “That’s a true story, but I’m too shy.”
Asked if he regretted missing his shot due to his shyness, Andre threw caution to the wind and exclaimed, “F–k it! Tonight I will guarantee this audience I will have sex with Madonna on this table! While Jimmy watches!”
