GloRilla absolutely dominated 2024 as she cemented her status as one of the premier rappers in the game today.
Following her massive year, Glo was honored with the Powerhouse Award at the Billboard Women in Music 2025 ceremony in Los Angeles on Saturday (March 29).
Draped in a sleek black tux, the Memphis native was present to accept the honor at the YouTube Theater over the weekend.
GloRilla’s smile and infectious personality can brighten just about any room. After praising Mickey Guyton, who presented her with the award, Glo showed some love to the women in attendance.

“I just want to say shout-out to all the beautiful ladies in the building tonight,” the CMG rapper said in a Southern drawl before hitting some of her signature ad-libs. “I love y’all.”
She continued: “I want to thank God, the beautiful ladies on my label — Interscope, CMG — and all my beautiful women fans. Shout-out to Memphis for making me and raising me and shout-out to Billboard. Let’s go!”
GloRilla kicked off 2024 with her braggadocios “Yeah Glo!” which reached No. 28 on the Billboard Hot 100 and notched a pair of Grammy Award nominations. She then teamed up with Megan Thee Stallion for the top 15 hit “Wanna Be” on her Ehhthang Ehhthang EP in April.
Megan and GloRilla joined forces on the Hot Girl Summer Tour, which invaded arenas across North America. Big Glo parlayed her momentum into her GLORIOUS album that boasted Hot 100 entries like “HOLLON,” “WHATCHU KNO ABOUT ME” featuring Sexyy Red, “HOW I LOOK” and the T-Pain-assisted “I LUV HER.”
Glo capped off the year with a surprise guest appearance on Tyler, The Creator’s Chromakopia top 10 hit “STICKY” alongside Sexyy Red and Lil Wayne. As a result of her decorated campaign, GloRilla came in at No. 1 on our staff-chosen Hottest Female Rappers list to close out 2024.
