Amelia Moore Signs With Republic Records, to Release New Single ‘F—, Mary, Kill’

Singer-songwriter, producer and multi-instrumentalist Amelia Moore has signed with Republic Records, the label tells Billboard.

Born in Georgia and now based in Los Angeles, Moore is known for tracks including “next door” featuring ASTN and “see through,” the latter of which spawned a remix featuring Coco Jones, Absolutely and Samara Cyn last year.

Moore’s first release on Republic is the upcoming single “f—, marry, kill,” which releases Thursday (March 20). According to a press release, the song features “ethereal guitar transmissions” that “dissolve into a head-nodding beat while she locks onto swaggering nineties R&B feels,” leading to the chorus: “I wanna f—, marry, kill you all at the same damn time.”

“I knew I had to make my own unique story,” Moore said of the song in a statement. “Singing funny, specific, modern lyrics over a song that feels classic and beautiful is something I had never done before.”

As a child, Moore sang in choir and performed in a local theater before graduating high school at age 16. She subsequently enrolled in Belmont University but dropped out following a writing trip and resettled in L.A. Her debut EP, teaching a robot to love, was released in 2022. That same year, she performed the song “I feel everything” on Jimmy Kimmel LIVE! and was named one of Apple Music’s “Up Next” artists.

Moore later put out the EP he’s just not that into you! and collaborated with Timbaland on the track “back to him.” She also self-funded her own headlining tour and played Tyler, the Creator‘s Camp Flog Gnaw festival last year.

Moore is managed by Brian Washington and Megan Yasuda at 2nd & 26 Entertainment and booked by Olivia Mirabella, Shirin Nury and Carly James at CAA.
