Sabrina Carpenter is making the U.K. and Ireland a home away from home. Following her recent BRITs performance and the commencement of the European leg of her tour in Dublin, Carpenter’s album Short n’ Sweet returned to No. 1 on the Official Albums Chart on Friday (March 7). It makes for Short n’ Sweet’s fourth non-consecutive week at the summit of the tally.

The LP first hit the top spot upon release in August, returning to No. 1 in December. Following the release of a deluxe edition, which included a collaboration with Dolly Parton, the record reached the summit once again in February. Since August, the album has not fallen outside the top five on the Official Albums Chart.

Carpenter performed a two-song medley of “Espresso” and “Bed Chem” at The O2 Arena in London to open the BRIT Awards 2025 on March 1, and picked up the global success prize on the night. On March 3, she kicked off the European leg of her tour with a performance in Dublin, Ireland, and gave “15 Minutes” its live debut. She will return for a pair of performances at The O2 in London on Friday and Saturday, with the tour hitting Manchester and Glasgow next week.

Brighton metallers Architects score this week’s highest new entry as the band’s 11th studio LP, The Sky, The Earth & All Between hits No. 2; the group’s 2021 album, For Those That Wish to Exist, remains the band’s sole chart-topper.

Wigan band The Lathums score its third top five album with Matter Does Not Define, and follows past two chart-toppers — 2021’s How Beautiful Life Can Be and 2023’s From Nothing to a Little Bit More. Sam Fender’s People Watching falls from the top spot to No. 4, while Doves’ Constellations for the Lonely completes the top five.
