Ye (formerly Kanye West) is giving the sound of his next album a new label, which finds the Chicago native digging his heels into a recent string of antisemitic remarks.
“This next album got that antisemitic sound,” West posted to X on Thursday afternoon (March 6). “My new sound called antisemitic.”
It’s unclear if this is related to the rollout of his Bully album, which he repeatedly teased around the start of 2025.

Last month, Ye went on several rants expressing his antisemitism and appreciation of Hitler. However, he walked back his statements and declared that he wasn’t a Nazi.
“PEOPLE USED TO TELL ME BLACK RICH VOCAL PICK TWO OR THEY’LL KILL YOU KIIIIDS SING KIIIIDS SING JOKES ON YOU IM STILL ALIVE,” he added in an X post earlier on Thursday while referencing his “We Don’t Care” track from The College Dropout.
During an interview with Justin LaBoy in February, Ye revealed that he was diagnosed with ASD (autism spectrum disorder).
“My wife took me because she said, ‘Something about your personality doesn’t feel like it’s bipolar, I’ve seen bipolar before,’” he said. “And come to find out, it’s really a case of autism that I have.”
An anonymous former employee of West’s allegedly told CNN that Ye wanted to name his 2018 album after Hitler. “He would praise Hitler by saying how incredible it was that he was able to accumulate so much power and would talk about all the great things he and the Nazi Party achieved for the German people,” the source said.
West seemed to have plans to drop his Bully album at some point in 2025, but it remains to be seen if the project will still see the light of day.
The rapper made headlines and continued his love and hate relationship with Drake on Wednesday when he requested that the OVO boss speak at his funeral down the line.
“I SAW A VIDEO OF DRAKE WALKING THROUGH HIS HOUSE AND SHOWING HE HAD A LIBRARY OF RYHME BOOKS MAN I WISH I COULD HAVE SEEN AND REMEMBERED THIS WHEN MY JEALOUSY OVERTOOK ME,” he wrote. “I LOVE DRAKE IMA SAY THIS WHEN I DIE I NEED YOU TO SPEAK AT ME FUNERAL.”
