Morgan Wallen gets personal about his anxieties on an unreleased song titled “I’m a Little Crazy,” a snippet of which the country superstar shared Thursday (March 6) on Instagram.
In the short clip, Wallen’s crackling voice soars over resonant finger-picked guitar as he sings about the lengths he goes to in order to feel safe in an “insane” world. “I keep a loaded .44 sitting by the bed/ For the jeepers and the creepers who ain’t right in the head,” he croons. “Hope I never have to use it but you never know these days/ I’m a little crazy but the world’s insane.”
“Oh, once you get to know me, I’m a coyote in a field of wolves,” the hitmaker continues in the track’s chorus. “Oh I’m a red letter rebel, but some become the devil when the moon’s full.”

The unreleased song is expected to appear on Wallen’s upcoming I’m the Problem album. He’s spent the past few months steadily rolling out singles “Lies Lies Lies,” “Love Somebody” and “Smile,” followed by his most recent release, January’s “I’m the Problem.”
Ten days prior to the “I’m a Little Crazy” teaser, the Tennessee native unveiled a snippet of a different unreleased track titled “Superman.” “When you ain’t a kid no more/ I hope you don’t think less of me,” he sings on the vulnerable ballad. “I try to hide my fallen soul/ But you’re gonna see.”
On Instagram, Wallen explained that he penned “Superman” for his 4-year-old son, Indigo Wilder, whom he shares with ex Katie “KT” Smith. “Been trying for a long time to write a song I loved to my son,” he wrote Feb. 24. “None of them ever feel good enough because of how perfect I want something like this to be. And not saying this is perfect, but I am very proud of it.”
