Madonna Poses With Mick Jagger, Julia Garner & More at Annual Oscars Party

Madonna and Guy Oseary hosted their annual Oscars afterparty on Sunday night (March 3) and, as usual, the event brought together winners holding their trophies as well as some of the biggest names in Hollywood.

The Queen of Pop took to Instagram to share photos from the star-studded event, featuring behind-the-scenes getting ready pictures, snaps in the party’s photo studio and more. Madonna is also seen posing with some of the evening’s attendees, including Mick Jagger, her children and Julia Garner — who was reportedly set to portray her in a still-in-the-works biopic.

“Throwing an Oscar party every year with my manager is challenging, stressful and time-consuming
But we always pull it off in the end,” Madonna captioned her post. “I got to spend time with people that I love and admire !! Highlight for me was sitting next to JACQUES AUDIARD the director of Emilia Perez, my favorite film this year!!! (Holding his Oscar) And watching Lil Wayne perform!!!”

Photographer JR also shared snaps he took in the photo studio, named the Paper Portrait Série as it features a raining sequence of paper eyes. The pictures feature best actor winner Adrien Brody and best actress winner Mikey Madison holding their awards, best supporting actress winner Zoe Saldaña, Ben Stiller, Penelope Cruz, Zoey Dutch, Ana de Armas, Chris Rock, Adam Sandler and Sacha Baron Cohen, among others. Per a press release, the Capital One and Gucci-sponsored evening’s theme was A Night in Japan, inspired by Madonna’s recent travels. The venue was decorated with traditional Japanese art installations, culinary experiences and more.

All of the event production, structures and material are being donated to those in the LA community affected by the fires, on behalf of Guy Oseary and Madonna. Additionally, Capital One made a donation to World Central Kitchen in honor of every guest in attendance.
