Tucker Wetmore, Tycho & More to Open Sacramento’s Newest Venue, Channel 24: See the Full Lineup

Sacramento’s newest music venue, Channel 24, has announced its inaugural lineup as it prepares to open its doors this spring.
Opening the venue for its first official show on April 24 is young country music artist Tucker Wetmore — Billboard‘s Country Rookie of the Month in May 2024 — whose debut single, “Wind Up Missin’ You,” hit No. 6 on Billboard‘s Hot Country Songs chart and No. 31 on the Billboard Hot 100. Wetmore will be followed by San Francisco electronic artist, record producer and composer Tycho and Americana upstart on April 25 and Sierra Ferrell on April 27. The following month, L.A. indie rock preppies The Wallows will perform at Channel 24 on May 2, followed by festival darlings Empire of the Sun on May 4, rapper Denzel Curry on May 7 and British ska masters Madness on May 14. Channel 24 is a 2,150-capacity complex located at 1800 24th Street in Sacramento. The venue features a main music room with general admission floor viewing and select reserved seats in its tiered balcony, multiple bars, and an upstairs open-air patio. It’s booked by Another Planet Entertainment, the concert company behind San Francisco’s Outside Lands Festival, the city’s Bill Graham Civic Auditorium, the Fox Theatre in Oakland and the Teragram Ballroom in Los Angeles.
“We have so many artists touring through Northern California that have to skip Sacramento because there is not an appropriately sized venue for them to play,” said Allen Scott, president of concerts and festivals for Another Planet Entertainment. “Channel 24, right in the heart of the city, fills that need, and we hope that the venue quickly becomes an integral part of Sacramento’s vibrant live music scene.”

Ticket presales for Channel 24’s opening batch of shows begin Thursday (Feb. 27) at 10 a.m. PT.
