Culture Jam Returns With New Compilation Album Executive Produced by Essean Bolden & Anthony Edwards

Following the success of his first project, Culture Jam with NBA superstar Kawhi Leonard, founder Essean Bolden returns with the second compilation, but with a twist: Enter 23-year-old NBA wunderkind Anthony Edwards.

“We are beyond excited to partner with Anthony [Edwards], his brother AnTony and the AE Five Enterprise team on this cultural musical compilation,” Bolden tells Billboard of his upcoming effort. “The story of Anthony and his brother is not only rooted In authenticity and inspiring, but it exemplifies Culture Jam’s ethos of authentic and compelling storytelling at the intersection of Sports and Entertainment. This partnership is a perfect match.”

Distributed by ADA/Warner Music Group, Culture Jam Presents: Legend In My Hood will feature the project’s first single, “Late Bloomer,” by B Different and Skilla Baby. Fans can expect the song to drop Friday (Feb. 14). As for the project, it will be a thrilling ride highlighting the connection between basketball and hip-hop, with Edwards and his brother, AnTony “B Different” Edwards, in the driver’s seat.

“Co-producing this project has been an incredible experience, and it’s special to get to work with my brother,” adds the three-time All-Star and goal medalist. “We have always pushed each other to be great in what we do, and this project brings our worlds together in a way that’s really dope. I’m beyond excited for everyone to see B Different shine and for him to have this platform to showcase his work as an artist. I can’t wait for people to hear it.”
