Jelly Roll to Make Acting Debut on CBS Series ‘Fire Country’

Written by on January 31, 2025

There is no slowing down Jelly Roll.

The singer-songwriter-entertainer is set for an acting role in the CBS series Fire Country, with Jelly Roll’s episode set to air April 11.

Jelly Roll previously made a cameo as himself in the series Tulsa King, but in this new Fire Country role, the Tennessee native will be portraying a character, a hospital orderly named Noah.

A new promo video for the episode features Jelly Roll and series star/creator Max Thieriot. In the video, Jelly Roll said, “From the stage to the fire line, it’s time to see if I can keep up,” later turning to Thieriot, and saying with a chuckle, “Man, this is tougher than the Grammys.”

Jelly Roll isn’t the first country artist to portray a role in Fire Country. In 2023, Kane Brown made his acting debut in Fire Country, portraying Robin, a train hopper who comes to the aid of injured patients on the scene of a crash.

Musically, Jelly Roll continues to operate at the top of his game. He recently wrapped his headlining Beautifully Broken Tour with a sterling homecoming show at Nashville’s Bridgestone Arena. He’s earned six No. 1 Billboard Country Airplay hits, and his current single “Liar” is in the chart’s top 5. He was nominated for the 2024 CMA entertainer of the year honor at November’s ceremony, and saw his album Beautifully Broken debut at No. 1 on the all-genre Billboard 200 chart last year.

Jelly Roll also recently took part in the recent FireAid concert to raise money for those impacted by the wildfires that devastated parts of the greater Los Angeles area, and is slated to headline his own benefit concert at the Rose Bowl to show support for first responders who have battled the wildfires’ flames.
