“It breaks my heart to see the situation: the fires, the loss of life and property, the suffering. Today, I made a donation to help those affected and to the firefighters who are putting their lives at risk fighting this fire. It is in times like these that we show our strength in our sense of community. That’s why if you can and want to help, your help is invaluable to the groups and people risking their lives. I will do so by supporting these two causes: The Los Angeles Fire Department and Wildfire Relief Fund 2025, who are currently in the area supporting. It’s time to give back to this magnificent city what it has given to so many of us. Los Angeles, we are with you. I love you.”

And also to the vendors who took food. Everything was so last minute. But Vanessa, my comadre and friend, held it down while I was in the Philippines we were talking about how we wanted to help and she put everything together. I told her what it was that we wanted and we were on the same page.”
She added: “I’m not posting this to boast or get praise, God knows I didn’t want to post anything at all. I just feel very grateful with everyone that came together last minute to come and help and provide supplies and gave us discounts. They didn’t have to do that, especially again, last minute. I just love to see people come together.”
