Ed Sheeran has secured his eighth No. 1 on the U.K.’s Official Albums Chart with his greatest hits compilation +–=÷× (Tour Collection).

The collection is made up of Sheeran’s hits from his Mathematical series of records: 2011’s + (Plus), 2014’s × (Multiply), 2017’s ÷ (Divide), 2021’s = (Equals) and 2023’s (Subtract). A number of songs from 2019’s standalone No. 6 Collaborations Project, including team-ups with Justin Bieber (“I Don’t Care”) and Rudimental (“Lay It on Me”), also feature.

First released in September 2024, +–=÷× (Tour Collection) has appeared on the charts for 14 weeks and initially peaked at No. 5. The album received a boost over the festive period when it was issued on vinyl for the first time, ultimately earning the compilation the top spot in 2025’s opening week (Jan. 3). All seven of Sheeran’s studio albums have previously reached No. 1 in the U.K. over the past decade.

Trending on Billboard

Sheeran’s +–=÷× Tour, which kicked off in April 2022, is set to conclude this year after 165 shows. His upcoming slate will kick off in Bhutan on Jan. 24, before heading to a number of cities in India, China, Qatar and more, later returning to European stadiums throughout the summer.

In December, Sheeran teased that his new album would be a return to the bigger sounds heard on the compilation. “It feels like I’m getting back into big pop for the first time in a long time,” he told Variety. “It’s quite exciting.”

Sheeran’s most recent studio LP was 2023’s Autumn Variations, which landed at No. 4 on the Billboard 200.

Elsewhere, there’s little movement week-on-week in the the top five, with Sabrina Carpenter’s Short n’ Sweet (No. 2), SZA’s SOS (No. 3), Chappell Roan’s The Rise and Fall of a Midwest Princess (No. 4) and Charli XCX’s Brat (No. 5) all staying put.
