Rumors of a 50 Cent and Eminem joint album have been floated for decades, and the “Patiently Waiting” duo added fuel to the fire this week. The G-Unit boss responded to the headlines generated by Em, with 50 claiming he’s feeling inspired to get back in the booth, but not until he’s done with his six-show Las Vegas residency first.

“Looks like I’ll be back in the booth after all ! Just gotta do this residency in Vegas first,” he wrote to social media on Friday (Dec. 27).

Busta Rhymes gave his stamp of approval in the Instagram comments by leaving multiple crown emojis. Multiple other fans chimed in, hyped up at the idea of 50 and Em joining forces for a project.

“Eminem and 50 Cent album will be straight [fire] can’t wait for it,” one person wrote on IG. Another joked, “I’ll be on YouTube live with a bulletproof vest and a g*n if this happens!”

Eminem stoked the flame when he talked to DJ Whoo Kid on SiriusXM’s Shade 45 earlier this week about the prospects of a full project with 50.

“That would be great,” he said. “We just gotta stop bulls–tting and just do it. I would never say it’s not possible, what the f–k?!”

Earlier in December, Snoop Dogg and Dr. Dre invited Em and 50 for guest appearances on their Missionary album, as the rep dignitaries collided for “Gunz N Smoke.”

In the past, 50 and Slim Shady have teamed up for tracks such as “Patiently Waiting,” “Crack a Bottle,” “Don’t Push Me” and many more.

50 has six shows slated for PH Live at Planet Hollywood in Las Vegas from Dec. 27 through Jan. 4, and then it could be time to turn the page to working with Em and make 2025 another year to remember in rap.
