There’s been no shortage of excellent K-pop albums this year, and now that 2024 is winding down, Billboard wants to know which record has defined your year the most.

Three K-pop artists earned career milestones on the Billboard 200 with projects this year: TWICE earned their first chart-topper in March with the girl group’s personalized and intimate With YOU-th EP; Stray Kids had a historic No. 1 when ATE saw the boy band become the first group ever to debut at No. 1 with its first five charting albums; ATEEZ topped the tally with GOLDEN HOUR: Part.2 in November, which made them the third K-pop group ever with multiple No. 1s.

2024 also marked some long-awaited albums that became immediate fan favorites.

Trending on Billboard

Upon returning from his mandatory military service, BTS‘ eldest member, Jin, finally released his first full solo project, Happy, which boasted rock influences from around the world and secured him as the seventh and final member of the group to hit the top 10 of the Billboard 200. While this was Jin’s first solo album, his bandmates RM, J-Hope and Jimin delivered their own projects, showcasing new sides in their artistic spectrums.

This year also brought highly anticipated solo records from stars such as SHINee’s ONEW, EXO’s Baekhyun, GOT7’s Yugyeom, iKON’s DK and ASTRO’s Cha Eun Woo to establish their musical identities further. Similarly, girl group ARTMS and the newly solo Yves all delivered excellence and experimentation in their first moves since exiting LOONA.

Alongside critically acclaimed projects by the likes of IU, PLAVE and NCT, global fans spoke out to make BABYMONSTER, xikers, UNIS, EPEX, SCENEDROME and more as this year’s rising acts to watch.

With such a cornucopia of releases in 2024, we want to know which one you had on repeat the most. Vote for your favorite K-pop album of the year below!
