The Nope actress is ready to chat about her life beyond red carpet interviews and social media through her first-ever memoir, Master of Me. Growing up as a child star didn’t come without its challenges, and she reveals the trials she faced, such as rediscovering who she is and restarting her career after a decade.

Throughout the 256 pages, you can expect her to pose questions to readers as another layer of connection. Audiobook listeners will even get a hint of what’s to come music-wise for the star, as she includes her new single, “Imposter.”

Palmer’s memoir landed the title of being a New York Times bestseller in less than two weeks after its release date. The praise doesn’t end there, as fans helped it reach a No. 1 bestseller on Amazon for black and African American biographies.

To celebrate the major achievements, Palmer took to Instagram where she shared her reaction to becoming a NYT bestseller as well as teasing more to come.

“The incredible thing is that this journey is just beginning, the book hasn’t even been out a month yet!” she writes in the caption of the post.
