The surviving members of The Tragically Hip (also referred to as the Hip) are continuing their year of behind-the-scenes insight with an official biography that’ll provide even more insight beyond their recent Prime Video docuseries, The Tragically Hip: No Dress Rehearsal. The new book, titled This Is Our Life, will take fans through the rock band’s journey to fame featuring previously unpublished materials that’ll give even the most diehard fans a new perspective.
Music lovers can delve into 130,000 words featuring quotes and reflections taken from hours of interviews done with Rob Baker, the late Gord Downie, Johnny Fay, Paul Langlois and Gord Sinclair. Their most iconic moments as a band won’t be the only things spotlighted within the book: you’ll also read about their beginnings in Kingston, Ontario, where they met in high school and eventually formed the band.
