The series, recorded at the Analog Club at downtown Nashville’s Hutton Hotel, will highlight conversations with an array of musicians, including upcoming episodes featuring “Sweet Dreams” hitmaker Koe Wetzel, reigning Americana Music Honors & Awards artist of the year Sierra Ferrell, Grammy-nominated duo The War & Treaty, Guns N’ Roses guitarist Slash, Madison Ryann Ward and Jeff “Skunk” Baxter.

Throughout the series, artists spotlight the stories behind many of their biggest hits, share insights from their years of making music and touring the world, and give an insider’s look at the life of a world-class musician.

The initial episode highlights McDonald’s five decades of music, through his work as a solo artist and member of Steely Dan and The Doobie Brothers. In addition to the discussion — which touches on his songwriting collaborations with Kenny Loggins such as “What a Fool Believes” and Carly Simon (“You Belong to Me”) — McDonald also performs during the event, including a collaboration with Reiser on keyboards. Reiser is known for his roles in the television series and films My Two Dads, Mad About You, Beverly Hills Cop and Stranger Things.

WNPT Nashville PBS is the presenting sponsor station for the series.
