Colombian powerhouse hitmakers Blessd and Ryan Castro have joined forces to present their joint U.S. tour, the ¡Ay Bendito Ghetto! Tour.
The 15-date tour, named after the pair’s respective nicknames (Blessd‘s “El Bendito” and Castro’s “El Cantante del Ghetto”), is organized by Touring the World and Seitrack US. It’s set to start on Oct. 31 in San Jose, California, and conclude in Atlanta on Dec. 1, with stops in major cities including Los Angeles and Miami.
“We are happy, thankful to God that this will happen, and it’s going to be an amazing party, quite unforgettable for our fans,” Ryan Castro tells Billboard News in Miami.
Blessd discusses their friendship and the backstory of their first meeting, which led to their first song, “Lejanía,” highlighting their unmatched chemistry in their collaborations.
“We met in Medellin. Ryan came from Cuarazo, and he told me to go to the studio. We had only talked on social media … we fell in love over Instagram,” continues Blessd, joking about it.
Blessed adds that their song “Lejanía” happened after the pair met up in the studio “I was heartbroken too, and that’s how it all started,” he says, before Ryan cuts in: “Hey, what do you mean ‘too?’ I was chilling!”
