Xitter Confused By Sly FOX News Obsession With VP Kamala Harris’ Earbuds

A moment where Vice President Kamala Harris was seen wearing earbuds before a flight upset a Fox News host but left social media users perplexed.
As the presidential race between Democratic nominee Kamala Harris and Republican nominee Donald Trump continues, the right-wing media outlet Fox News has been fixated on minute things about Vice President Harris including her use of earbuds. This came in the form of a segment, introduced by its host John Roberts. “Presidential nominee Kamala Harris,” he began. “She did break her media silence last week in a sit-down interview alongside running mate Tim Walz, but now she appears to be using a new method to dodge press questions…A pair of earbuds.”
A video of Vice President Harris exiting an SUV and walking towards Air Force 2 is shown, and she is seen waving to people off-camera with earbuds in her ears as she ascends the stairs to the airplane. Roberts comes back and asks, “So, was she really on a call, or was that just a feint?” The network and other media outlets have been consistently stating that the vice president hasn’t been forthcoming with doing interviews with the press, showing their frustration through several opinion editorial articles since she was officially declared the nominee two weeks ago. Harris would sit down with her vice presidential running mate Walz in an interview with CNN’s Dana Bash last week.
Those who got wind of the Fox News segment expressed their confusion at how the network saw an issue with Vice President Harris using earbuds. In a post on X, formerly Twitter, user John Challen recalled another moment that the network was obsessed with something trivial with another Black presidential figure: “Is that her ‘tan suit’ moment on Fox?! These people are so odd.” Another by the name of Brenna wrote, “When there’s actually zero scandals…this is what they’re reduced to.” Meanwhile, supporters of Trump were busy reposting the clips in an attempt to nail her for seeming to backtrack on her position of not using wired earbuds in 2021.
