Carlita, Major League DJz, Fatboy Slim & DJ Harvey Lead Day Zero 2025 Lineup

Written by on August 14, 2024

More than 30 artists are set to play Day Zero 2025, once again happening in Tulum, Mexico, this Jan. 11.

Leading the house and techno-focused lineup is Turkish-Italian phenom Carlita, South African twins Major League DJz, global club legend DJ Harvey, U.K. favorite Fatboy Slim and a crew of other acts including Lee Burridge, Francesca Lombardo, Dubfire, Victor Calderone and the event’s founder Damian Lazarus. Additionally, Day Zero will again present a stage featuring local Mexican producers. See the complete lineup below.

Organizers for the event report that tickets are already 70% sold out via a pre-lineup ticket sale that happened in July. Remaining tickets will go on sale Aug. 22 through the Day Zero website. The party, which features music from sunset to sunrise, typically takes place at a location in the jungle near the Mexican resort city, with the exact location to be announced in the coming months.

Day Zero began in December 2012, with Lazarus and crew planning it to coincide with the end of the Mayan calendar and what many were then hailing as the end of the world.

“I’m not sure there is that much escapism any more,” the producer told Billboard of the global scene in 2020. “Clubs and events have become too controlled and monitored, drug taking has become too dangerous and unexciting, music has become too stale and obvious. As a result of this, negative things are happening on and around the dancefloor. We need a fresh start, new ideas, collective positive thinking and planning, new passion for music. These are the things I work hard to visualize and produce when creating my Day Zero and Get Lost [party series] events.”
