The basketball superstar sat down with GQ recently, where he was asked about his thoughts on Drake and Kendrick Lamar’s recent rap beef, in which he was briefly mentioned on Lamar’s “Meet the Grahams.” “Ay, LeBron, keep the family away. Hey, Curry, keep the family away,” Lamar rapped on the track, before adding, “To anybody that embodies the love for the kids, keep the family away. They lookin’ at you too if you standin’ by him, keep the family away.”
“I’m a big Drake guy. I’ve been for a long time,” Curry responded to the publication. “I think obviously you know what it is for the rap industry to have that, but I still rock with Drake. Absolutely. Absolutely.”
Previously, Steph’s wife, Ayesha, got her own line in Drake’s 2021 album, Certified Lover Boy, on the track “Race My Mind.” “How I’m supposed to wife it?/ You not Ayesha enough,” Drizzy raps on the song.
