Directioners had the ultimate throwback moment on Saturday night (July 27), when Niall Horan performed One Direction’s “Stockholm Syndrome” during his show at Los Angeles’ Kia Forum.
“Oh, baby, look what you’ve done to me/ Oh, baby, you got me tied down/ Oh, baby, I’ll never leave if you keep holding me this way,” the 30-year-old star is seen singing in a clip posted to social media, with the fans at the venue singing loudly along with him.
“Stockholm Syndrome” was released in 2014, when Horan was part of One Direction alongside Harry Styles, Liam Payne, Louis Tomlinson and Zayn Malik. The song was a fan-favorite off the boy band’s album, Four, which also featured hits like “No Control,” “Night Changes” and “Steal My Girl.” The album marked Zayn’s last album with the group, as he left the band in March 2015. The rest of the group announced a hiatus later in the year.
In 2023, just before the release of his third studio album, The Show, Horan discussed the possibility of a 1D reunion with Apple Music 1’s Zane Lowe. “It’s just like the conversation hasn’t happened,” he explained. “We speak regularly, but that conversation hasn’t happened. God knows whether it ends up being — it could be like the Friends reunion, it could be a whole tour. God knows what it is, but no, it hasn’t been spoken about.”

He also assured that he’ll continue performing 1D songs. “I’ve never been one to hide away from it. They’re great songs,” he said. “There’s so many on there that feel like my kind of stuff as well. And it’s good to make new versions of as well.”
