Watch Eminem Face Off in Conversation With His Slim Shady Alter-Ego

Eminem may have killed off his alter-ego on The Death of Slim Shady, but he still can’t shake off Slim Shady.

As part of Complex‘s The Face-Off short series, Eminem argues with Slim Shady as they banter back-and-forth in the clip essentially featuring Em interviewing a version of himself.

“I’m back because you got your nuts tucked so tightly between your legs fucking Caitlyn Jenner would be jealous,” the digital Slim Shady spewed. Eminem immediately got on the defensive: “Are you just like allergic to not being an a–hole?”

Em compares Slim to South Park‘s Cartman and Family Guy while complaining about how Gen Z attempts to come up with a new reason to cancel him every week after discovering his alter-ego. “Every other week on TikTok, Gen-Z discovers you on Monday and cancels me on Tuesday,” he added.

Cancel culture is a major them that Eminem grapples with on The Death of Slim Shady throughout tracks such as “Trouble.”

“What’s the matter, Marshall? Your penis tucked/ Aw, the big bad rapper just get his feelings hurt/ You gonna cancel me, yeah? Gen-Z me, bruh,” he raps from Slim’s perspective.

Fans can expect the full episode of Eminem’s appearance on The Face-Off to be released on July 29.

The Death of Slim Shady served as the Detroit legend’s 12th studio album and delivered his 10th consecutive Billboard 200-topper. TDOSS debuted with 281,000 total album-equivalent sales in the first week to end Taylor Swift’s three-month run atop the chart.
