Warner Records has promoted Robert Santini to senior vp of brand partnerships and ad sync, the company announced Monday (July 1).
Santini assumes the role after four years as the label’s vp of brand partnerships & ad sync. Under his previous title, he spearheaded projects including Warner Records’ collaboration with Roblox and the NFL for the first-ever Virtual Super Bowl Halftime Performance. The show happened in the metaverse and was headlined by Saweetie.
Santini also orchestrated the collaboration between Linkin Park‘s Mike Shinoda and Meta for the launch of the Oculus 3 VR headset and oversaw a strategic alliance with NBA2K for new music and content. This past February, he was named to Billboard‘s list of top executives melding the worlds of sports and music.
Santini will continue to report to Claudia Butzky, Warner’s executive vp of brand partnerships & sync.

“It’s amazing working with Tom [Corson], Aaron [Bay-Schuck], Claudia, and the entire Warner Records staff,” Santini said in a statement. “Everybody here makes you feel like anything is possible. It’s an environment where innovation is fostered and encouraged. We’re able to not just think outside of the box, but to really operate outside of it. I’m excited to continue working with the team and our roster of talented artists to build more incredible partnerships together.”
“Nobody understands the intersection between music, sports, and video games quite like Robert does,” Butzky adds. “He recognizes the value of cross-collaboration and always identifies the potential to break ground early on. He constantly seeks out meaningful partnerships that reflect the artistry of our roster. It’s a credit to his experience, vision, work ethic, and ingenuity.”
