Knocked Loose lands at No. 1 on Billboard’s Top Hard Rock Albums chart for the first time, reigning over the May 25-dated survey with You Won’t Go Before You’re Supposed To.

The set starts with 24,000 equivalent album units earned in the U.S. May 10-16, according to Luminate. The sum includes 18,000 in album sales and 6,000 in streaming-equivalent units. Of those album sales, 14,000 were on vinyl, begetting the LP’s No. 2 debut on Vinyl Albums.

The rockers complete a steady climb to No. 1 on Top Hard Rock Albums; after first appearing on the tally with its 2016 debut studio set Laugh Tracks, which peaked at No. 4, they rose to No. 2 in 2019 with A Different Shade of Blue prior to the reign of You Won’t Go Before You’re Supposed To. The band formed in 2013 in Oldham Country, Ky.

The new LP also debuts at Nos. 4 and 5 on Top Rock Albums and Top Rock & Alternative Albums, respectively. On the all-format Billboard 200, it starts at No. 23, Knocked Loose’s best, eclipsing the No. 26 peak of A Different Shade of Blue.

Concurrently, nine songs from You Won’t Go Before You’re Supposed To dot Billboard’s multimetric Hot Hard Rock Songs chart, paced by “Suffocate,” featuring Poppy, at No. 5. That’s a return to the song’s peak, it initially reached on the May 11 list. The tune earned 1.3 million official U.S. streams May 10-16.

The top debut from the album, meanwhile, belongs to “Slaughterhouse 2,” which starts at No. 6 with 1.1 million streams.
