Nicki Minaj may be trekking her way through her Pink Friday 2 World Tour, but she still found some time to put together a remix for one of her recent Pink Friday 2 hits. On Thursday (April 18), Minaj announced a “Sleeze Mix” of “FTCU” via her Instagram account.

With a caption announcing the remix’s release date — Friday (April 19) — Minaj shared the single’s cover art, which features what appears to be a picture of her performing in one of her onstage outfits, complete with a flowing pink wig and a bedazzled microphone in hand. In lieu of a literal stage, Minaj kneels on the title of the song, “FTCU,” with a black speaker on either side of her. Underneath the title lies the names of the three guest artists featured on the “Sleeze Mix”: Chris Brown, Travis Scott and Sexyy Red.

“FTCU (Sleeze Mix)” marks the latest of several collaborations between Minaj and Brown. The duo have charted six Billboard Hot 100 entries together: 2012’s “Take It to the Head” (No. 58, with Rick Ross and Lil Wayne), 2012’s “Right By My Side” (No. 51), 2013’s “Love More” (No. 23), 2014’s “Only” (No. 12, with Drake and Lil Wayne), 2015’s “All Eyes On You” (No. 21, with Meek Mill) and 2016’s “Do You Mind” (No. 27, with DJ Khaled, August Alsina, Jeremih, Future and Rick Ross).

Trending on Billboard

While Minaj and Sexyy have collaborated once before — 2023’s “Pound Town 2” (No. 66, with Tay Keith) — “FTCU (Sleeze Mix)” marks her first link-up with Travis Scott. It’s something of a full-circle moment for the two rap superstars after Minaj lambasted Scott and his family after merch bundles helped his Astroworld album block her Queen LP from topping the Billboard 200 back in 2018.

“FTCU” originally appeared on Minaj’s Pink Friday 2, which debuted atop the Billboard 200 last winter (chart dated Dec. 23, 2023). Immediately becoming one of the album’s breakout hits, “FTCU” reached No. 15 on the Hot 100, spending 18 weeks and counting on the ranking; right now, the record sits at No. 79 (chart dated April 20).

Minaj is currently midway through her Pink Friday 2 World Tour, with a slew of dates slated to run through July 14 at Belgium’s Astrid Park.
