Sexyy Red Gets Tangled Up in a Messy Love Triangle in Her ‘I Might’ Music Video

Sexyy Red juggles her man and her sneaky link in the mischievous “I Might” music video, featuring Summer Walker, released Friday (March 1).

In the Des Grey-directed video, Red’s sneaking around with Atlanta rapper Hunxho (who’s featured on Billboard‘s 2024 R&B and hip-hop artists to watch list) while fighting with her main boo, Lil Scrappy. But don’t tell Sexyy’s baby daddy “’cause he gon’ leavе you leakin’ in a alley,” she taunts in the chorus. When Lil Scrappy comes back to her crib to kiss and make up, he finds Hunxho and his crew ready to square up. And Sexy’s reaction might just be a new internet meme. Meanwhile, Walker sings throughout the clip about how the makeup sex makes all this drama worth it.

“I Might” was featured on the deluxe version of her sophomore mixtape, Hood Hottest Princess, which reached No. 13 on Top Rap Albums, No. 21 on Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums and No. 62 on the Billboard 200. It also marks the second collaboration between Sexyy and Summer since 2022’s “Sense Dat God Gave You.”

The St. Louis rapper welcomed her second child earlier this year — and in a music video for Drake‘s “Rich Baby Daddy,” featuring SZA, she reenacted what it would have looked like if Drake was the father. “What am I supposed to do? My water just broke,” Red asked Drake in the video before requesting he call SZA. “Are you f—ing dumb? Can you stop? We have to go,” SZA scolded him before they piled into the minivan and headed to the hospital.
