Maná‘s highly anticipated performance at Viña del Mar on Tuesday (Feb. 27) — their fifth time overall at the Quinta Vergara — didn’t disappoint. The iconic rock en español band performed all of its hits, from “Oye Mi Amor” to “De Pies a Cabeza” and “Labios Compartidos,” inspiring a massive sing-along with the 15,000 people in attendance.

The Mexican group was supposed to perform last year at Viña, but ultimately canceled due to lead singer Fher Olvera’s knee injury. At the 63rd edition of Viña’s International Song Festival, Maná’s performance earned the group Golden and Silver Gaviota Awards.

“I am extraordinarily well, in great spirits, missing you all very much. We are here, we promised, and as Mexicans, we promise and we deliver,” Olvera said before being honored with the band’s first award, the Silver Gaviota. He also said that Maná was dedicating its performance to the firemen who’ve helped battle the flames that left 120 people dead and more than 15,000 homes affected earlier this month in Viña del Mar. “Our admiration to them.”

Shortly after winning the Silver award, the “monster,” as the Viña audience is known, awarded Maná with the Golden Gaviota. Maná went on to close its set with classics “Clavado En Un Bar” and “Rayando El Sol.”

Australian rock band Men at Work was in charge of closing out the second day of Viña del Mar. The group also won Golden and Silver Gaviotas. Both Maná and Men at Work’s performances followed Andrea Bocelli and Miranda!’s respective sets on Monday (Feb. 26).

Mora and Anitta will perform on Feb. 28; Feb. 29 is a night devoted to Chilean artists with Los Bunkers and Young Cister; and for the finale on March 1, Argentine artists Maria Becerra and Trueno will perform.
