While there are a glaring lack of songs solely about Thanksgiving — with the exception of Adam Sandler’s cult-classic track “The Thanksgiving Song” — there are more than enough tunes in pop culture about being thankful for friends, family, successes and more.

To get into the thankful spirit, Billboard compiled the 20 best songs about expressing gratitude in one form or another. Kelly Clarkson‘s 2002 debut track, “A Moment Like This,” entered the list, and with good reason. The song, which hails from her 2003 debut album Thankful, premiered as she won the inaugural season of American Idol that year, and expressed her gratitude at being the program’s first ever winner. And to put the cherry on top, the song was Clarkson’s first No. 1 hit on the Billboard Hot 100.

It’s hard to talk about songs being grateful without mentioning Celine Dion‘s 2013 track, “Thankful.” The chorus sees the powerhouse vocalist feeling blessed for being able to live life, and having her prayers be answered (“I’m thankful you listened/ Thankful to heaven/ Thankful for feeling alive again/ Thankful that hearts always mend”).

And of course, there’s Ariana Grande‘s viral 2019 track “Thank U, Next.” After coming off of two major life changing events — the tragic passing of ex-boyfriend Mac Miller in 2018 and the bombing of her Manchester concert a year before that — Grande took a moment to acknowledge her personal struggles while giving her exes a positive shoutout.

The list also includes songs from FKA Twigs, Backstreet Boys, Ozuna and more, but we want to know: Which track is your favorite? Revisit the list here and vote in the poll below.
