James Cameron’s tale of love and loss, Titanic, is finally arriving in 4K Ultra HD for the first-time ever. To sweeten the deal it’ll also be in the form of a special collector’s edition that you can preorder now. That means collectors and superfans of the movie can officially rewatch in crystal clear definition while enjoying all the bonus content included — no subscription or scouring streaming options required.
The Titanic collector’s edition will officially be released on Dec. 5 (just in time for the holidays), but preordering it now will ensure that it gets to your door the moment it’s released — while helping you avoid having to find last-minute gifts. You could wait until the release date, but then you run the risk of getting the dreaded “sold-out” message. But, just in case it’s sold-out on Amazon, you can also find it on Walmart.
Besides getting to listen to Celine Dion’s “My Heart Will Go On” from your couch, you’ll also get to indulge in 15 hours of bonus content. The collector’s box will also come with four exclusive posters, interviews with Kate Winslet and Cameron as well as a look behind the scenes.
While you wait for the movie to come out in 4K Ultra HD, you can rewatch it on Prime Video for $3.99 to rent or buy it for $6.99. Paramount+ subscribers can watch it for no additional cost or you add the streamer to your Prime Video channels and enjoy a 7-day free trial.
