Offset Thinks a Collaboration With Quavo Is Possible: ‘It’s All Love’

Written by on October 11, 2023

Offset and Quavo are still healing following the death of their third Migos member, Takeoff. In light of Takeoff’s fatal shooting, the two rappers have been able to find their way back to each other and are working on their relationship, Offset revealed in a recent interview with The Breakfast Club.

“That’s my brother at the end of the day,” he told hosts Charlamagne Tha God and DJ Envy. “We good though. We just spoke in Paris.”

Offset continued, “We be talking because we be going through little emotions with this sh–, and it don’t be for the public. Everything ain’t for the public to be kiki-ing. We still gotta move in our own worlds. It’s all love at the end of the day. We lost a brother; we can’t rock out.”

While Quavo and Takeoff released joint material together as Unc & Phew (the pair released one studio album, 2022’s Only Built For Infinity Links), Offset and Quavo haven’t collaborated on new music since 2021’s Culture III. When asked if a collaboration could happen with Quavo, Offset replied, “I think so.” When that collaboration could come to fruition is yet to be determined.

“It’s more about me creating my foot in the game. Also I got my own — business-wise — I got my own … I’m a grown man. I got five kids too, so I gotta make sure I’m putting that food on the table,” he explained.
