The 18-year-old singer — who broke through with the 2022 tracks “Romantic Homicide” and “Here With Me” — is one of a handful of performers selected by the music streamer to participate in its #PopRisingOnTour, which shines a light on the artists featured on the platform’s Pop Rising playlist and allows them a slot to play for fans.
“This year, Spotify introduced #PopRisingOnTour, our collaboration with emerging artists that lets us celebrate Spotify’s Pop Rising playlist on the road, at key tour stops nationwide,” Lisa Ritchey, manager, pop, dance & indie, artist partnerships, Spotify, said in a statement. “Watching d4vd go from making music in his sister’s closet to selling out this show in minutes has been thrilling to watch as he continues to captivate his fans both on and off stage. We’re so proud to see his promising career unfold, and to assist other rising talents through this initiative.”

Up next for d4vd is the release of The Lost Petals EP. The set, arriving Friday, will contain a total of five tracks and serves as the formal follow up to his breakthrough EP, Petals to Thorns.
