Metro Boomin’s star-studded soundtrack to Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse shoots to a No. 2 debut on Billboard’s Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums chart (dated June 17). The set was released on June 2, the same date of its parent film, and begins with 66,000 equivalent album units earned in the week ending June, according to Luminate.

Of its starting sum, Metro Boomin Presents: Across the Spider-Verse traces 62,000 units to streaming, equaling 92.6 million official U.S. on-demand audio and video streams of the album’s songs. 3,000 of the soundtrack’s remaining units come from traditional album sales, with the final 1,000 units deriving from track-equivalent albums. (One unit equals the following levels of consumption: one album sale, 10 individual tracks sold from an album, or 3,750 ad-supported or 1,250 paid/subscription on-demand official audio and video streams for a song on the album.)

With its runner-up start, Across the Spider-Verse matches the No. 2 peak of its predecessor film’s soundtrack, Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse, achieved in January 2019. The set was fueled by Post Malone and Swae Lee’s Billboard Hot 100 No. 1 hit, “Sunflower.”

As Metro Boomin’s latest creation arrives, the producer captures his eighth top 10 on Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums. Here’s a rundown of his top 10 collection on the list:

Album Title, Artist (if other than Metro Boomin), Peak Position, Peak Date
