President Biden Reacts To Reports That Prosecutors May Have Enough Evidence To Charge Son Hunter For Tax Crimes, Perjury

For the first time, President Joe Biden responded to reports that federal prosecutors might have enough evidence to charge his son Hunter Biden for tax crimes and perjury after he lied about his history of drug abuse during a gun purchase.
Hunter Biden bought the gun during a time when he has publicly acknowledged he was struggling with an addiction to crack cocaine, and now is under investigation because federal law requires gun buyers to swear that they are addicted to drugs, according to CNN.
President Biden Says He’s “Proud Of Son” For Overcoming, Battling Drug Addiction In Light Of Possible Charges Against Hunter
In an interview with the network’s Jake Tapper, the President said he was proud of his son for confronting and overcoming his battle with addiction, and “establishing a new life.”
“This is a kid who got – not a kid, he’s a grown man – he got hooked on, like many families have had happen, hooked on drugs. He’s overcome that. He’s established a new life,” Biden said.
The President went on to say that Hunter’s 2021 memoir “Beautiful Things,” telling Tapper he was “proud of him.”
“I’m confident that he is – what he says and does are consistent with what happens,” the President said. “And for example, he wrote a book about his problems and was straightforward about it. I’m proud of him.”
President Biden specifically spoke on the gun purchase incident, saying “didn’t know anything about it.”
“This thing about a gun – I didn’t know anything about it. But turns out that when he made application to purchase a gun, what happened was he – I guess you get asked – I don’t guess, you get asked a question, are you on drugs, or do use drugs?’ He said no. And he wrote about saying no in his book,” Biden said.

However, Biden said he had “great confidence in (his) son,” and that “he’s on the straight and narrow and has been for a couple of years now.”
“So, I have great confidence in my son,” he went on. “I love him and he’s on the straight and narrow, and he has been for a couple years now. And I’m just so proud of him.”
FBI, IRS, Justice Department, Federal Prosecutors Building Case Against Hunter Biden
The FBI, IRS, the Department of Justice and prosecutors in Delaware have reportedly all gathered their resources in building a case against the president’s 52-year-old son, the outlet previously reported.
Amongst discussions between the agencies have included the strength of the case and whether more work was necessary before following through on charging the president’s son.

Investigators and prosecutors argue they already have enough evidence to bring charges, however the final decision rests with Delaware U.S. Attorney David Weiss, and likely won’t take place until after midterm elections next month.
An attorney for Hunter Biden didn’t immediately respond to CNN’s request for comment.
Hunter’s Stolen/Missing Laptop, Memoir Are Source Of Much Of The Evidence Against Him
Over the summer, The Shade Room reported on several damning reports that had been gleaned from Hunter Biden’s stolen/missing laptop.
In mid-July, Hunter Biden was of the highest trending topics on Twitter amidst reports that his iCloud was allegedly hacked by an anonymous source, per The Shade Room.
A video of Hunter began making its rounds on social media, in which he was allegedly seen weighing a large amount of crack cocaine. Some critics also allege he was speaking with a prostitute, which has yet to be confirmed.
According to Vice News, the leak of Hunter’s iPhone data went viral on a platform called 4chan, where an anonymous user claimed to have hacked his iCloud backup. The user alleges to have found all sorts of sensitive information about Hunter and his father Joe Biden.

That same month, The Shade Room reported on Hunter calling his father and begging for $10,000 so he could pay off an impatient prostitute who had ties to a Russian escort ring, video showed.
The damning video was discovered on Hunter’s abandoned laptop and released to the public by the Washington Examiner in July.
Hunter allegedly spent over $30,000 on escorts, the majority of whom used “.ru” Russian email addresses and who worked at an “exclusive model agency” called UberGFE during a nearly four month period between November 2018 and March 2019, the outlet reports.
